NGO World Window is working on the grassroots and middle social leadership levels trying to support the active understanding and participation of public leaders, youth and NGO’s in the European Integration process and the broader process of globalisation. Our aims are to build bridges of understanding across the Dniestr River and from Moldova more widely across the Euro-Atlantic space. This is done by organizing educational, legal, cultural and conflict resolution programs. We work actively to develop democracy and an engaged civil society through providing information, training, technical assistance, and creation of local and international partnerships.
World Window’s Mission:
The NGO “World Window” is an independent non-governmental organization working to support, consolidate and strengthen the Transnistrian nongovernmental sector and public leadership qualities.
World Window’s vision:
Respect for human rights, good governance and well developed democratic structures at central and local level on both banks of the Nistru, in a society that puts as its first priority the satisfaction of basic human needs of all its citizens – free of poverty, with equal life opportunities for all. We feel that the path to European integration is key to achieving these aims for our society.
Clearly, the need for activities focusing on European values, education, skills and methods are clearly very necessary in Transnistria and more widely in Moldova, as positive and comprehensive ways of addressing the social needs present in the country.
